MEDICAL SURGEON — Ministry of Education and Health of the Republic of Chile. ●CLINICAL ENDOCRINOLOGY: treating glandular conditions (pancreas, thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary, adrenal glands) through a combined approach integrating clinical medicine and endocrinology, thereby providing a more comprehensive assessment that considers both body and mind, rather than focusing solely on the gland. ●OBESITY TREATMENT: a patient who follows a balanced and healthy diet and is not sedentary should maintain a normal weight appropriate for their height and condition. When this is not the case, in addition to a genetic predisposition, it is almost certain that an as-yet-unidentified endocrinological disease is silently progressing in the background. Treatment also involves establishing healthy dietary habits and educating the patient on how to perform physical exercise appropriately for their sex and age in order to maximize its effectiveness. ●CLINICAL MEDICINE (INTERNAL MEDICINE): encompasses the study of nearly all specialties (neurology, urology, nephrology, cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, etc.), this specialty being the foundation of clinical medicine, with the goal of promoting the physical and psychological well-being of patients seeking help.
